Hyundai Verna, i20 N Line price hiked in India, Check revised prices

The carmakers recently increased the prices of their models in the Indian market. Hyundai is one of the car makers which imposed a price hike on several of its products.  The latest models joining this list is the Verna and popular i20 N Line. The carmaker also increased the cost the likes of the Creata, Alcazar, Tucson, Aura, and more.

Hyundai price hike

The Hyundai Verna is the automaker’s only sedan offering in the Indian market. Now, it has become costlier after receiving a price hike of Rs 7,000. With the price increae, the starting cost of the verna has hiked to Rs. 11.07 lakh. Meanwhile, the top feature packed variant now comes at a cost of Rs 17.55 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).

The popular i20 N Line hatchback has also received a price hike in India. The premium hatchback has become dearer by Rs 4,000. However, only select variants are implecated with the price increase. The price hike is not applicable to entry-level N6 MT and N6 MT dual-tone variants. Meaning, their prices remain unchanged. Apart from these two, all other variants have become dearer by Rs 4,000. The Hyundai i20 N Line price now begins from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 12.56 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).

Hyundai Verna, i20 N Line powertrain

The Verna is powered by 1.5-litre NA and turbo-petrol engines paired with six-speed manual, CVT, and seven-speed DCT automatic units. Further, customers can choose from 10 colours and seven variants.

Meanwhile, the Hyundai i20 N Line is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with six-speed manual and seven-speed DCT gearboxes. Further, customers can choose from seven colours and two variants.

In recent news, the Creta Electric was launched in India, with prices starting at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, the company has its eyes set on the Venue as its next upcoming car.
