Honda CB1000F neo-retro motorcycle revealed across global markets, know details about it

The Honda CB1000F neo-retro motorcycle is powered by a 1000cc engine that is derived from 2017 model CBR1000RR Fireblade.

Honda has launched the CB1000F neo-retro motorcycle overseas. The motorcycle is based on the same platform as the CB1000 Hornet. However, there are certain mechanical changes that make it different from the 1000cc Hornet.

Specifications

The Honda CB1000F neo-retro motorcycle is powered by a 1000cc engine that is derived from 2017 model CBR1000RR Fireblade. The engine generates 123.7hp at 9000rpm while the torque is 103Nm at 8000rpm. This is quite different compared to the Hornet which generates 157hp at 11,000rpm and 107Nm at 9000rpm.

The motorcycle gets a single-piece seat which is at 795mm. The tank is big enough to store 16-litre fuel while the weight of the motorcycle is 214 kilos. It gets 310mm dual discs at the front and a 240mm rear disc. The tyre sizes are 120/70-ZR17 / 180/55-ZR17 at the front and rear.

The Honda CB1000F gets a 5-inch colour TFT display with LED lights. There are three riding modes- Sport, Standard and Rain along with two user modes. Dual-channel ABS is offered as a standard on the motorcycle. Colour options are silver/blue, silver/ black and black/red.

In terms of price, the CB1000F costs 1,397,000 yen (approx. Rs 8.11 lakh) in Japan.
