Citroen has launched the updated Aircross X SUV in India at a starting price of Rs 8.29 Lakh (ex-showroom).
Citroen has launched the updated Aircross X SUV in India at a starting price of Rs 8.29 Lakh (ex-showroom). The new model has been added under the ‘2.0 – Shift Into The New’ Strategy, which was incorpated with the C3X and the Basalt X in the Indian market.
The ‘2.0 – Shift Into The New’ Strategy includes key cosmetic and functional changes in the SUV.
The Aircross X has received cosmetic changes in the interior including ventilated leatherette seats, ambient and footwell lights, redesigned gear lever. The deep brown interior theme offers premium feel. The SUV has also bee upgraded with soft-touch leatherette wrapping on the instrument panel and door bolsters.
The car has also got 10.25-inch infotainment system, seven-inch IC, and gold accents.
The other features the Aircross X is equipped with are Proxi-Sense and push button start, cruise control and speed limiter, auto-dimming IRVM and projector LED head fog lights, remote alerts, and voice SOS. and 360-degree camera. Note that the company charges Rs 25,000 for the 360-degree camera. Meanwhile, the Max trim gets Cara AI with support for 52 Indian and global languages.
Safety features of the Aircross X include six standard airbags, ESP, hill hold, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.
Citroen Aircross X SUV price
The price of the newly launched Aircross C starts at Rs 8.29 Lakh and reaches up to Rs 13,49,100 (ex-showroom).
The Aircross X is offered in 10 colour options Polar White, Steel Grey, Garnet Red, Cosmo Blue, Deep Forest Green (new), Perla Nera Black, and dual-tone shades like Deep Forest Green/Perla Nera Black, Polar White/Perla Nera Black, Cosmo White/Polar White, and Garnet Red/Perla Nera Black. There are three interior colour choices, too. A dual-tone roof is an optional add-on, priced at Rs. 20,000.
Powertrains
The powertrain of the Citroen Aircross X is the same as the standard Citroen Aircross X.
The 82hp 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission. The higher trims of the Aircross X 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine offers the 110hp , which can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The option of CNG is available as a retrofitted accessory.
