BSNL launches Rs 225 prepaid plan, removes Rs 1515 prepaid plan

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new prepaid plan with 30 days validity i.e. Rs 225 plan. BSNL has also withdrawn the Rs 1515 annual prepaid plan in India. The plan offered 2GB high-speed daily data for entire year.
BSNL Rs 225 Prepaid Plan
The Rs 225 Prepaid Plan from BSNL offers unlimited local and STD call support for 30 days. The daily data limit is 2.5GB but after that the speed is reduced to 40 Kbps. There is benefit of 100 SMS per day. The total data benefit in the plan is 75GB.
BSNL Rs 1515 Prepaid Plan
Rs 1515 Prepaid Plan has been removed by BSNL. The plan was quite popular for those who needed data throughout the year. Under the plan the users got 2GB internet daily but the speed drops to 40 Kbps post the daily limit. This roughly means that the plan used to cost Rs 4.15 per day.
BSNL still offers the Rs 411 pack that offers 100GB high-speed data for users in India. Users get unlimited data at 40 Kbps for 60 days. Similarly, the Rs 198 plan offers 40GB high-speed data with 30-day validity.
