BSNL has announced “Diwali Bonanza” campaign that offers Rs 1 plan, lucky draws, silver coins, festive discounts, recharge gifting, and more.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Friday announced a raft of festive offers under its “Diwali Bonanza” campaign as it looks to attract users to its indigenous 4G network ahead of a full-fledged 5G rollout. The offer will be valid for a brief period of one month from October 18 to November 18.
Under the October 18 to November 18, the State-run telecom operator has announced various attractive offers including Rs 1 plan for new users, lucky draws, silver coins, festive discounts and recharge gifting features and more. The telecom operator aims to attract more customers and improve engagement of existing users with this BSNL Diwali Bonaza offer.
Rs 1 plan for new users
BSNL has announced a Rs 1 plan for new subscribers joining the operator network. The Rs 1 plan for new users will offer one-month free mobile plan for just Rs 1, which the company takes as a token activation charge. The plan will let users enjoy free access to unlimited voice calls, 2 GB of daily data, 100 SMS per day, and a free SIM card.

Step-1: Visit the nearest BSNL Customer Service Centre (CSC)
Step-2: Request the Diwali Bonanza Plan (Rs 1 activation).
Step-3: Complete the KYC process with valid documents
Step-4: Collect your free SIM and activate it as guided.
Step-5: Enjoy free 30-day complimentary benefits.
Win a silver coin in lucky draw
BSNL users can win a silver coin under the “Festival of Fortune” lucky draw. Under the “Festival of Fortune” lucky draw event, BSNL users who recharge with plans worth Rs 100 or more through the official BSNL app or website, have a chance to win a silver coin. The three-day “Festival of Fortune” lucky draw event will be going on from October 18 to 20 for existing customers.
BSNL Gift a Recharge
BSNL’s “Gift a Recharge” feature will enable users to send prepaid top-ups to friends and family during the festive days. Customers can also add a personalised message, with each gifted recharge offering a 2.5% bonus value for the recipient. This can act as a Diwali bonus for those who are living far away from home.
Senior citizen and corporate plans
BSNL also announced a new “Senior Citizen Plan” exclusively for new customers aged 60 and above. With this plan, the users will get annual plans that offer 2 GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 daily SMS, and six months of free BiTV premium access.
Festive discounts
As part of its “Save a Little, Share a Little” campaign, BSNL is offering a 5% festive benefit on recharges of Rs 485 and Rs 1,999 through its app or website.
Half of the benefit (2.5%) will be passed on as an instant discount to customers, while the other half will be donated by BSNL to social service initiatives.
