Bajaj will not increase the prices of Pulsar NS400Z, Dominar 400 with GST hike

Bajaj Auto will not increase the prices of Pulsar NS400Z and Dominar 400 despite the implementation of GST 2.0, reported Autocar India.

Bajaj Auto will not increase the prices of Pulsar NS400Z and Dominar 400 despite the implementation of GST 2.0, reported Autocar India. The two wheeler manufacturer has made a decision to absorb the cost rather than burdening its customers with additional tax. For those who are unknown, the GST on above 350cc category bikes has been increased from 28 percent to 40 percent.

The decision of Bajaj to absorb GST hike on selected motorcycle models make it more relevant among its customers. The company has passed GST benefit to customers who purchase motorcycles under 350cc.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is still the most value-for-money 400cc motorcycle and costs Rs 1.92 lakh. If Bajaj opted to pass on the higher GST rate to customers, the ex-showroom price would increase by roughly Rs 13,000.

On the other hand, the Dominar 400 costs Rs 2.39 lakh and the motorcycle had received electronic update earlier this year. It is a good news for those buyers who strictly have a budget of under Rs 2.5 lakh for purchasing a 400cc tourer adventure motorcycle.
