All units of Skoda Octavia RS sold out in India, launch to take place on October 17

When it comes to engine, the upcoming Skoda Octavia RS will be powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine (automatic).

Skoda India will be launching the Skoda Octavia RS in India on October 17. Ahead of the launch, all the units of Octavia RS have been sold in India. “All 100 gone. Hearts? Officially broken,” posted the company on its official X handle.

The Skoda Octavia RS will be sold in India in its CBU (imported) version. Customers could reserve the sedan for a token amount of Rs 2.50 lakh. All the 100 units of the first batch have been sold out. The deliveries of the sedan will start from November 6 and will be available in five colour options. The colour options are Mamba Green, Magic Black, Race Blue, Candy White and Velvet Red.

When it comes to engine, the upcoming Skoda Octavia RS will be powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine. It is paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic unit. The output of the motor will offer maximum power of 261bhp and peak torque of 370Nm.

On the interior, the sedan gets 12.9-inch touchscreen system with adaptive cruise control, 10 airbags for front and back seats, Type -C charging ports and much more. The sedan offers 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

In terms of price, the Skoda Octavia RS version might cost around Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom).
