2025 Volvo S90 facelift along with new design and more technology revealed

In terms of powertrain, the Volvo S90 facelift gets option for mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains.

Volvo has unveiled the Volvo S90 facelift for the international markets. The device offers larger touchscreen, refreshed design, and updated technology along with plug-in hybrid variant.

The Volvo S90 facelift offers some important updates in the sedan. There are revised headlamps with signature LED daytime running lamp. The DRLs are extended to meet the grille and offers new diagonal slats. The bumper gets sharper bumper while the edges get silver garnish. There is new design for the alloy wheels. There are T-shaped tail lamps and offer LED detailing. The number plate has also moved up from the bumper to boot-lid.

When it comes to interior of the car, it gets 11.2-inch touchscreen (which was earlier 9.0-inch). The system gets new software that gets improved response.

In terms of powertrain, the Volvo S90 facelift gets option for mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The company claims that plug-in hybrid offers improved range from 74km to 80km. In terms of suspension, the car gets Adaptive suspension.

The 2025 Volvo S90 facelift will be available in China in the mid of 2025. The pre-facelift version S90 was sold in India for Rs 68.25 lakh (ex-showroom) but the facelift version is expected to cost more. We can expect the launch of the sedan in the near future.
