2025 Skoda Octavia RS launched in India at Rs 49.99 lakh, all units of the first lot booked

2025 Skoda Octavia RS has been launched in India today and the sedan is brought to India as a fully imported unit. The first lot consists of the 100 units only and they have been already booked. Skoda had opened the bookings for the model on October 6.

With an ex-showroom price of Rs 49.99 lakh, the 2025 Skoda Octavia RS costs Rs 14 lakh more than the older Octavia RS 245 model. The colour options offered in the sedan are Mamba Green, Magic Black, Race Blue, Candy White and Velvet Red.

When it comes to engine, the 2025 Skoda Octavia RS is powered by an EA888 engine from Volkswagen Group. The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor is also available on the Golf GTI. The engine generates 265hp of maximum power and 370Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Skoda Octavia RS goes from 0-100kmph in just 6.4 seconds while the top speed is 250kmph.

The sedan gets 19-inch alloy wheels along with sportier bumpers. The RS badging is also available on the car. On the interior, the car gets all-black colour scheme with red stitching. There is also an RS-spec three-spoke steering wheel with flat bottom.

Important features include 10 airbags, adaptive cruise control, 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, 360-degree camera, support for Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto and much more.
