The 2025 MG Comet EV has been launched in India and the model now gets added features along with a price hike of up to Rs 27,000. The base price of the EV remains the same as earlier. There is now mechanical change on the MG Comet 2025 model. The base variant of MG Comet (battery on rent) costs Rs 5 lakh while the base variant with battery costs Rs 7 lakh.
MG has introduced some new features in the 2025 MG Comet and that includes features like rear parking camera along with electrically folding outside rearview mirrors in the mid-spec Comet Excite variant. On the other hand, the Exclusive variant gets premium leather seat upholstery along with four-speaker sound system. Other features like dual 10.25-inch screens including driver’s display and touchscreen, wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay support are also offered in the car.
The Comet EV gets a rear motor that produces 42hp and 110Nm of peak torque. There is a 17.3kWh lithium-ion battery and the claimed MIDC range is 230km. MG offers 7.4kW AC charger that charges the battery from 0 to 100 percent in 3.5 hours.
