2025 Kia Seltos Facelift unveiled in India, Bookings open

Kia Motors has unveiled the new-generation Kia Seltos in India. The SUV is set to make it’s debut in the market in 2026 and the bookings has opened from today that is on December 10. Meanwhile, the price of the new Seltos will be declared on January 2, 2026.
The automaker has confirmed that the car will be available in three engine options and four trims namely-THE, HTK, HTX, GT-Line, and X-Line.
Second-generation Kia Seltos facelift design
The new Seltos now features a more mature look with a sharper and more upright tiger nose grill and a new revised bumper. The grille also features vertically stacked split headlamps.
On the side, it has pop-out door handles and new aero-oriented wheels. It also features satin Silver elements on the new skid plate, which add a tougher look to the seltos. At the back, it gets a sleeker spoiler and a full-width connected vertical tail-lamp setup.
Inside, the SUV gives Kia’s EV model look and feel. It sports twin 12.3-inch displays, climate-control panel, slim vents, new three-spoke Kia steering wheel, and panoramic sunroof. It also features dual-zone climate control, Bose sound system, Level-2 ADAS, connected car technology, reclining second row seats, and full LED packages.
The boot has been increased as well, now at 536 litres with the help of a dual-level floor, a healthy 103-litre jump over the outgoing model.
The safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, stability programme, and hill-start assist across the range.
Kia Seltos Facelift Engine
The New Kia Seltos is offered in three powertrain options including a 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre GDi, and a 1.5-litre Diesel unit.
The NA petrol unit produces 113bhp of power and 144Nm of torque and the GDi petrol engine delivers more power of 158bhp and 253Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Diesel unit produces 118bhp and 260Nm. The petrol engine comes with a six-speed Manual Transmission whilst the former gets a CVT and the latter a seven-speed DCT. The diesel engine can be had with a six-speed MT or a six-speed AT.
Roumours has suggested that Kia might add a hybrid powertrain to the options but Kia has made no announcement of the same at the unveiling.
Kia Seltos Facelift Price (Expected)
The second-generation Kia Seltos is expected to priced around Rs 12 Lakh to Rs 20 lakh. However, we will know the exact price after it is announced on January 2, 2026.
Rivals
The New-gen Kia Seltos rivals the likes of Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor.
