Tata Safari Stealth Edition price in India starts at Rs 25.29 lakh

Tata Motors has launched the Stealth Edition of its popular SUV  Safari at a starting price of Rs 25.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The special Safari Stealth Edition was showcased alongside the Harrier Stealth Edition at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year.

The Tata Safari Stealth Edition is based on the Accomplished Plus variant. The new edition features a matte black paint scheme at the exterior, which is different from the Dark Edition. Inside the cabin, it has an matching black leatherette interior theme. The dashboard has been totally blacked-out, leave for a thick silverish strip running throughout its length. The leatherette seats feature a black upholstery as well.

Furthermore, the alloys also get dark treatment along with stealth badging on the front fenders as part of the package.

The Stealth Edition retains the same features and safety as the Dark Edition variants of the Safari. It features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with MapMyIndia navigation, dual-zone climate control, electrically-adjustable and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and more. Some of the Tata Safari Stealth Edition safety features include 7 airbags, a Level-2 ADAS suite with 2- functionalities, front and rear parking sensors, hill-descent control, and more.

Mechanically, the Safari Stealth Edition is powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel engine mated to a six-speed manual or an automatic torque converter unit. This motor is tuned to generate 168bhp and 350Nm of peak torque.

The Tata Safari Stealth Edition is available in two variants- manual and automatic. The company also offers it in a six seater option, which comes in the Automatic trim. The price of the Tata Safari Stealth Manual is priced at Rs 25.29 lakh. Meanwhile, the Tata Safari Stealth automatic and automatic six seater version has a price tag of Rs 26.89 lakh and Rs 26.99 lakh, respectively.
