The channel was launched in April 2015 by Kalinga Media and Entertainment, a unit of KIIT Group of Institutions and has successfully completed 7 years. The company is engaged mainly in the business of broadcasting news, current affairs, and regional entertainment uplinked from Odisha, India via satellite television channels.
