USA imposes sanctions on 15 Indian companies, read to know the reason

USA: The united states has imposed sanctions on 275 individuals and entities including 15 Indian companies for allegedly supporting Russia’s military-industrial complex. Also companies from China, Switzerland, Thailand and Turkey have been sanctioned along with companies of India. The US Department of the Treasury shared this news on Thursday.

Reason behind the move is mentioned that, these companies are providing advanced technology and equipment to Russia, which is fueling it’s ongoing war efforts. The US has made it clear that, it is committed to weakening Russia’s war machinery system. Also it will impose sanctions on individuals and companies that violate American sanctions and export controls and support Russia with advanced war technologies and equipment.

There were third-country sanctions against it as well, for instance Chines firms selling dual use products supporting Russia’s military industrial complexes. The sanctions target Russia’s defense industries and energy producers, along with firms helping to export these goods.

The list of the sanctioned company released by the Treasury Department includes Indian companies Aabhar Technologies and Services Private Limited, Denwas Services Private Limited, MCSI Technologies, Galaxy Bearings Limited, Orbit Fintrade LLP, Inovio Ventures, KDJ Engineering Private Limited, and Khushboo Honing Private Limited.

Additionally, Lokesh Machines Limited, Pointer Electronics, RRG Engineering Technologies Private Limited, Sharp Line Automation Private Limited, Shourya Aeronautics Private Limited, Sriji Impex Private Limited, and Shreya Life Sciences Private Limited have also been included in the sanctions list.
