Virginia: In a shocking incident, a two-year-old child accidentally shot a man on Monday morning in a Chesterfield County of Virginia, leaving him in critical condition, police said.
According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, the unidentified man was about to leave the house Monday morning and had placed his handgun on a nearby chair. The child gained access to a gun and unintentionally shot the man.
The police said the man was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.
As per police, the victim is identified as the boyfriend of the child’s mother.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said.
