New Delhi: The United Nations Security Council members raised tough questions for Pakistan at its informal closed door session on Monday, sources in New York told ANI. The 15-nation Security Council held deliberations on Monday afternoon amid growing tensions between India and Pakistan.
Sources told ANI that UN Security Council members raised tough questions for Pakistan at its informal closed door session. The members refused to accept the “false flag” narrative planted by the Pakistani side and asked whether the Lashkar-e-Taiba, a proscribed terror organization with deep ties to Pakistan, was likely to be involved in the terror attack.
Over closed-door UNSC meeting on Kashmir, Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC told ANI, “The United Nations Security Council members raised tough questions for Pakistan vis-à-vis Kashmir and they stand totally exposed.”
She further added, “The UNSC refused to accept their false narrative, whether it’s the LeT or their involvement in this barbaric act, where they targeted tourists on the basis of their religious faith.”
“Pakistan has repeatedly tried to spread a false narrative, but it stands exposed at the UNSC as well as the international community,” she concluded.
