Pakistan Army Violates Ceasefire along LoC in Rajouri

Rajouri: On Monday, the Pakistan army violated ceasefire along the Line of Control in Jammu & Kashmir’s Rajouri district.

This is the second time in past three days that Pakistani troops have violated the ceasefires, a spokesperson said. The last incident occurred on Saturday i.e. July 20.

The troops targeted forward posts and villages in Sunderbani sector with mortars and small arms in the early morning hours, prompting retaliation by the Indian Army, reported India Today.

When the last report was received, the intermittent firing was still on but there were no casualties reported on the Indian side.

During the visit of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to the different part of the state on Saturday, Pakistan Army started targeting Mendhar sector of Poonch district causing injuries to a civilian in Balnoi village.
