Kitna Acha Hai Modi: Australian PM on PM Modi at G20 Summit

New Delhi: Australian Prime Minister (PM) Scott Morrison tweeted a selfie with his counterpart Narendra Modi with the caption ‘Kitna Acha Hai Modi!’ (How good is Modi).

The newly elected Australian PM met his Indian counterpart PM Modi on Saturday morning at Oska G20 summit and shared a light moment.

Last month, the two leaders had congratulated each other on their respective election victories and pledged to work together.

Australian PM Morrison tweeted his praise for PM Modi in chaste Hindi.

PM Modi met presidents of Indonesia and Brazil separately on the sidelines of the summit. They discussed ways to boost mutual cooperation and bilateral trade ties. A day earlier, he held talks with several global leaders. US President Donald Trump, China’s Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin met PM Modi and had a discussion on a variety of topics.

In a joint statement released after the meeting of Foreign Ministers of India, Russia and China, the three countries condemned terrorism in all its forms and variations.

Topics like climate change and the environment will rule the discussions on the final session of the summit.

The G20 (Group of Twenty) summit is an international leaders’ forum comprising 19 countries and the European Union. The 14th edition of the G20 Summit is being held at Osaka, Japan from June 28-29.
