Indonesia: Malaku Island Struck By 7.3 Magnitude Quake

Jakarta: Malaku Islands in Eastern Indonesia got struck by an earthquake on Sunday. The earthquake measured 7.3 magnitudes in the Ritcher scale as per the United States Geological  Survey (USGS), reported ANI.

As per reports, the quake occurred at around 9:10 (UTC). The epicentre of the earthquake was registered at a depth of 10 kilometres, about 102 kilometres off the coastal town of Laiwui, Indonesia.

No immediate reports regarding damage of properties or casualties were received. No tsunami warning has been issued as of now.
