New Delhi: Extending help to Cuba in the wake of Hurricane Rafael, India has sent relief to mitigate the aftermath of the natural disaster, said reports on Friday.
According to reports the Ministry of External Affairs told ANI, “In the aftermath of Hurricane Rafael, a consignment in the form of Essential Medicines comprising antibiotics, anti-pyretics, pain killers, ORS, muscle relaxants has departed for Cuba today.”
Rafael had devastating effects as it to Cuba. It was touted to be the second hurricane to hit the country in recent times. The national electric system collapsed due to strong winds in Rafael, this caused a nationwide power outage.
Recently India had extended relief to several countries who have faced several natural disasters.
