Five killed after Air Dynasty Helicopter Crashes in Nepal’s Nuwakot
Nepal: Atleast five people were killed after an Air Dynasty helicopter crashed in the Shivpuri area of Nepal’s Nuwakot on Tuesday.
As per the local media reports, the helicopter was enroute Syaphrubensi from Kathmandu when it collided with a hill at Surya Chaur-7 in Nuwakot district.
There were a total of five people on board the chopper when it took off, including four Chinese nationals and the pilot. The Chinese nationals were on their way to Rasuwa.
The chopper was piloted by Captain Arun Malla along with four Chinese nationals. It lost contact just three minutes after the take-off at the Kathmandu Airport.
On being informed about the incident, the rescue team was immediately mobilised to the incident site.
