Eastern Indonesia Jolted With Earthquake Of Magnitude 6.2

Jakarta: An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale hit eastern Indonesia on Monday, the European monitoring agency reported.

However, there were no reports of casualty or loss of property.

The epicentre was 133km northwest of the city of Kupang on Timor island, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.
