Earthquake of magnitude 5.0, 4.4 hits Nepal’s Dahakot

On Thursday, an earthquake of magnitude 5,0 and 4.4 struck Bajura’s Dahakot Nepal, the National Centre of Seismology reported.

Jammu and Kashmir: An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 and 4.4 on the Richter scale struck Bajura’s Dahakot Nepal overnight on Thursday, the National Centre of Seismology reported.

The first earthquake struck at 11:58 pm (local time) measuring 4.9 magnitude while at 1:30 another measuring 5.9 magnitude has been recorded.

The first earthquake epicentre was located at a latitude of 29.43 and a longitude of 81.58 and occurred at a depth of 10 km, according to the National Centre of Seismology.

While the second earthquake epicentre was located at a latitude of 29.49 and a longitude of 81.56 and occurred at a depth of 10 km.

No casualties or damage has been reported yet.
