Traffic advisory for Rath Yatra 2025 issued, know how to go and where to park your vehicles

Puri Police has issued a traffic advisory for the world famous Rath Yatra 2025 of Lord Jagannath and his siblings to be held in Puri on June 27 (Friday).

The traffic advisory for the Rath Yatra 2025 has been issued for different types of vehicles coming through three separate routes- from Brahmagiri side, from Bhubaneswar side and from Konark side.

Three wheelers coming from Talabania will proceed to Ghoda Bazar via Water works road, Odisha Bakery & Ram Mandir. After drop the passengers they will return via Ram Mandir, Shreekhestra Colony & Mangala Mandir to Talabania.

SHUTTLE SERVICE

Three wheelers coming from Malatipatpur side will allowed upto Atharanala via Batagaon Chhaka. After drop the passengers they will return via same route.

Three wheelers coming from Brahmagiri side will allowed upto Sterling via Mangalaghat. After drop the passengers they will return via same route.

BRAHMAGIRI SIDE: All tourist Bus from Brahmagiri side will be allowed up to Flourish India Parking and their return will be on same route.

TOURIST BUSES

BHUBANESWAR SIDE: All tourist Bus from BBSR side will be allowed up to Malatipatapur Parking and their return will be on same route.

KONARK SIDE: All tourist Bus from Konark side will be allowed up to Swami Narayan Temple Parking and their return will be on same route.

BRAHMAGIRI SIDE: Two wheelers from Brahmagiri side will be allowed upto Old Jagannath Ballav parking on first come first priority basis, after filling up old Jagannath Ballav parking Matitota Helipad ground and Matitota Play Ground Parking via Mangalaghat. They will return via Mangalaghat.

TWO WHEELERS

BHUBANESWAR SIDE: Two wheelers from BBSR will be allowed upto Old Jagannath Ballav parking on first come first priority basis, after filling up old Jagannath Ballav parking Matitota Helipad ground and Matitota Play Ground Parking via Malatipatapur, Batagaon and Mangalaghat. Vehicle parked at Old JBPC will return via Jatiababaji Chhaka, Kumbharapada PS Atharanala and Batagaon.

KONARK SIDE: Two wheelers from Konark side will be allowed upto Blue flag beach and Hotel Neelachal Ashok Parking via Baidas Nagar, Grid Station, Helipad, Pethakata Chhaka, CT Road & Subash Bose Chhaka. These two wheelers will return in the same route. But no vehicle will be allowed to avail ROB road from Baidas Nagar Chhak.

BRAHMAGIRI SIDE: All light motor vehicles coming to Brahmagiri will proceed from Mangalaghat Chowk to Sterling Chhak and will park their vehicles at the designated vehicle parking area there (Sterling parking). From there, they will exit through the same route.

LIGHT MOTOR VEHICLES

BHUBANESWAR SIDE: All light motor vehicles coming to Bhubaneswar will proceed via Maltipatpur Bridge, Baidas Nagar Chhak, Grid Station Chhak to the designated Parking point on Talabania side. On Talabania side, they will park their vehicles at Assembly Guest House, Industrial Training Center, Helipad, Indoor Stadium, Horticulture Institute respectively. From there, they will proceed via PKRIT Chhak, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bhudan Chhak, Grid Station Bhudan Chhak, Balighat Bhudan Chhak, Samangara Village and Batgaon Bhudan Chhak to Bhubaneswar.

KONARK SIDE: All light motor vehicles coming from Konark will proceed via Baidas Nagar Chhak, Grid Station, and Talbania to the designated vehicle parking area. On Talbania, they will park their vehicles sequentially at the Assembly Guest House, Industrial Training Center, Helipad, Indoor Stadium, Horticulture Field and Fresh Fish Market. From there, they will return on the same route.
