Chai ka pani" (tea water) is often used as a natural hair rinse because it contains antioxidants, caffeine, and tannins that can stimulate the scalp, strengthen roots, and add shine.
Here’s how you can use it for hair growth and shine
Take 2–3 teaspoons of black tea leaves (or 2 tea bags). Boil in 2 cups of water for 5–7 minutes. Strain the liquid and let it cool completely. (Never apply hot tea to the scalp!)
Shampoo your hair as usual. Pour the cooled tea water slowly on your scalp and hair. Gently massage the scalp for 2–3 minutes to improve blood circulation. Leave it on for 20–30 minutes. Rinse with plain water (no need for shampoo again).
Use 1–2 times a week for best results.
Stimulates hair growth (caffeine improves blood circulation to hair follicles). Strengthens hair roots and reduces hair fall.
Adds shine & softness to dull hair. Darkens hair naturally (helps cover early greying). Reduces dandruff due to antifungal and antioxidant properties.
Don’t overuse daily, as excessive tannins may make hair dry. Always condition after if your hair feels rough.
If you have light-colored hair (brown/blonde), tea rinse can darken it.
