Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal dedicated the National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO)’s four wind-generated electricity projects of 198 MW capacity to the nation in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram and NALCO CMD Dr T.K. Chand and others were present during the presentation ceremony of the wind-generated electricity projects to the nation held at the NALCO Bhawan.
On this occasion, NALCO inked two memorandum of understanding (MoUs) with two different companies.
According to reports, NALCO inked an agreement with the Defence Ministry PSU- Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd (Midhani) for the manufacture of high-end aluminium alloys.
Similarly, in order to boost its research activities, NALCO entered into a pact with the Bhubaneswar-based Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
