Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) Ltd, a government of Odisha undertaking, has announced a special tour package for visitors from Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur, who want to witness the world famous Puri Ratha Jatra on June 25.
As per the OTDC notification, the visitors who wish to board the special bus from Bhubaneswar will have to report at Pantha Nivas at 5.30 am on Rath Jatra day. The bus will begin its journey at 6.00 am and return at 7.00 pm. At Puri, special arrangements have been made for devotees to have a rooftop view of Rath Jatra. Rs. 3999.00 will be charged for each person.
Similarly, the devotees who wish to start their journey from Sambalpur can board the bus from Pantha Nivas, Sambalpur at 8.00 pm on June 24. They will reach Bhubaneswar Pantha Nivas early on June 25 morning and then resume their journey towards Puri. The cost of each ticket will be Rs. 4999.00.
The visitors can enjoy the Ratha Jatra from Jagannath Ballabh Math, Puri. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served to the visitors. The devotees can book their ticket at www.visitodisha.org and www.panthanivas.com.
