Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has felicitated Moneka, the first Matriculate Girl of Mankedia tribe and gifted her a tablet PC. She had recently cleared the HSC Exam.
The CM wished Moneka good luck and encouraged her to pursue further studies and bring laurels to the State. Naveen also gifted a mobile phone to Head Master of the school where Moneka studied.
School & Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra and Department Principal Secretary Ranjana Chopra were present at the occasion.
Moneka, who hails from Sukinda in Jajpur district, wants to pursue further studies in I.T.I.
