Indigo Airlines flight no. IGO-756 took off for Chennai at 2.50 PM.
With this launch, Bhubaneswar has direct flight services to eight destinations in India.
Till date Bhubaneswar had direct flights to New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vizag and Varanasi.
A total of 28 flights by carriers Air India, Indigo Airlines, Go Air and Vistara operate from Bhubaneswar.
