Include Bhubaneswar as “Visa on Arrival” Station, CM urges Sushma

Letter to make BBSR as “Visa on Arrival” StationBhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has written to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj urging her to include Bhubaneswar as a “Visa on Arrival” Station.

Inhis letter to Swaraj, Patnaik pointed out that the recently launched international flight operations of Air Asia between Bhubaneswar and Kuala Lumpur had seen a good response with Indian citizens travelling abroad through Bhubaneswar. Besides, a sizeable number of foreign arrivals have also been noticed.

“In order to facilitate the travel of arriving tourists, it is requested that Bhubaneswar be included as a “Visa on Arrival” Station, which would encourage people from countries connected by the international connectivity and boost tourist footfalls to the state,” he wrote.
