HSC Results 2017: 85.28% Students clear Exam

The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Wednesday announced the results of High School Certificate (HSC) Examination with 85.28 overall pass percentage as against 83.32% last year.

School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra announced the results at the Board Office in Cuttack.

As many as 5,02, 999 students cleared the exams, which was held between February 28 and March 10.

As many as 2,417 students have passed the exam in A1 Grade, 23,489 students in A2, 62,193 students in B1 and 102,395  with B2 grade.

While 748 schools across the state scored 100% results and 22 schools scored zero per cent results. Continuing with the trends over the years, the girls with 89.19 pass percent outshone the boys who recorded 88.35 pass percentage.

Students can log on to the official website of the BSE – www.bseodisha.nic.inwww.bseodisha.ac.in and www.orissaresults.nic.in to know their results from 11.30 am onwards.

Students can also know their results through SMS by typing OR10 <ROLL NO> and sending it to 5676750. Around 6, 08,000 students in regular and ex-regular streams had appeared in the examinations at 2,887 centres across the state this year.
