Surjya Narayan Patro, who was sworn-in as a Cabinet Minister, on Sunday along with nine others, said that the he would do his best to fulfill the aspiration of the people of the state.
“At the outset, I thank Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for giving me the opportunity to be the Minister of his Cabinet once again. People of Odisha have high hopes from the BJD government. We will do everything possible to fulfill their aspirations,” said Surjya Narayan Patro exclusively to Kalinga TV after taking oath at Raj Bhavan.
Governor Dr. SC Jamir administered the oath of office to the six-time MLA from Digapahandi in Ganjam district along with Prafulla Mallick (Kamakhyanagar), Commerce & Transport Minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi (Jharigam MLA), Niranjan Pujari (Sonepur), Pratap Jena (Mahanga), Maheswar Mohanty (Puri), Sasibhushan Behera (Jayadev) and Prafulla Samal (Bhandaripokhari), Dr. Nrusingha Charan Sahu (Parjanga), Ananta Das (Bhograi), Chandra Sarathi Behera (Cuttack Sadar) and Susanta Singh (Bhatli).
