Crime Branch seizes Wildlife Products in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Wildlife Crime Control Bureau, Odisha Crime Branch & City Forest Division jointly raided a house in Brahmeswar Patna in Bhubaneswar and seized a massive haul of wildlife products.

Among others, Wildlife articles Hathajodi were recovered from a person, who was arrested by the cops.

Hathajodi is made of hemipenis of Agra monitor lizard a schedule 1 reptile under Wildlife protection act, 1972.

The Crime Branch also recovered 210 hemipenis (dried sexual organs) of monitor lizard.
