CM leaves for Delhi on five-day visit

Bhubaneswar, Apr 07: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday left for New Delhi on a five-day tour.

During his visit to the national capital, the Chief Minister will attend the inter-state council meeting on April 9. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will chair the meeting.

Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura and Uttar Pradesh are also slated to take part in the meeting which will be held after 11 years.

Patnaik is likely to raise many important issues including the Mahanadi, Maoists and coal royalty issues during the meeting.

Sources said, apart from attending the inter-state council meeting, Naveen will also meet many Union Ministers before returning to the state.

The CM is also likely to meet his party MPs who were in war of words on Twitter recently.
