Expressing his gratitude to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi, who was elevated to the Cabinet rank from MoS said that he would continue to do his best in any portfolio assigned to him.
Ramesh Majhi was later allocated SC/ST Development and Minority & Backward Class Welfare portfolio.
Speaking exclusively to Kalinga TV, Majhi said, “I thank honourable Chief Minister for the hope he has on me and elevating me. I will continue to give my best in any portfolio and will reach out to people and complete the unfinished work.”
It is worthwhile to mention here that the former Commerce & Transport Minister (Majhi) from Jharigam constituency of Nabarangpur district is one of the two Ministers who were elevated to the Cabinet rank. Steel & Mines Minister Prafulla Mallick (Kamakhyanagar) is the other Minister whom Patnaik included in his Cabinet.
