The point of making what is an already brief experience even briefer is to let users “absorb information more quickly or find your favorite part faster,” the platform said.
Moreover, YouTube has also removed the dislike button from the Shorts to bring a more positive impact on creators. That means you can only expresses your dislike through Not Interested and Don’t recommend this channel functions on Shorts now.
Moreover, like Instagram, users will now see a heart button in place of the like option instead of the thumps up emoji.
In addition, YouTube has also introduced a new Clear Screen mode for the user, which will allow users to temporarily hide all icons and text from your playback view. This means you can now watch the content peacefully without being bothered by the other things.
These features will be rolled out for the users over the next few weeks.
