Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone may come with a curved 4K display

An alleged TENAA listing has revealed that Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi is working on a smartphone with a curved 4K OLED display that has identical looks to the recently launched Xiaomi Civi phone.

Gizmochina have also shared some of the render images of the smartphone from the TENAA listing.

Specifications

The smartphone is seen with a rectangular camera module in the top-right corner of the back panel that houses a triple camera setup and a dual-LED flash. As for the selfie camera, the smartphone does not seem to have the hole punch cutout on the curved display.

Xiaomi’ upcoming phone is expected to feature a 6.55-inch 4K OLED display with 3840 x 2160 pixel. According to the images, the phone’s dimensions are almost identical to that of the Xiaomi Civi and measure 158.34X71.5X6.98.

The smartphone is likely to pack a 4,500mAh battery. It would come with support for up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

However, Xiaomi hasn’t revealed any details about this upcoming device yet.

Earlier reports have suggested that Xiaomi had also filed a patent for a foldable smartphone with a quad-camera system with a flipping camera that will work to take both selfies and regular photos. The flip camera will rotates forward for selfies and back for regular photos.

The smartphone maker has reportedly filed the design patent for an inward bending phone in China and also released 48 images to showcase the handset.
