Xiaomi Sells 1 Million Mi Band 4 In Just 8 Days!


Xiaomi’s new Mi Band 4 was launched earlier this month, with a colour display and better sports recognition has sold over 1 million units in China in the first eight days of its availability. However, the device will be launched in Europe as Mi Smart Band 4 on June 26.

The gadget received the fastest shipping tag

The company has informed that there were over 5,000 shipments per hour at one point. And hence it is the fastest-shipping wearable by the company ever. The band now comes with a bigger OLED with a mightier resolution, 2.5D curved glass on top and more functions. But its 15-20 days battery is perhaps the biggest selling point of the wearable.

Price of in different countries

In China, the base price of the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is CNY169 (€2). The Mi Stores in Spain and Italy will offer it for €35. Indeed, it is still a great deal, considering the improved features from the Mi Band 3 that arrived at €29 a year ago.


In terms of specification, the Mi Band 4 features a 0.78-inch OLED display with 80×128 pixels resolution, along with a 0.95-inch colour AMOLED display that has 120×240 pixels resolution and a 2.5D glass protection on top.

It also sports is a six-axis accelerometer. It will help monitor physical activities, including cycling, exercise, running, swimming, and walking. The device is 5 ATM rated and is designed to identify various swimming strokes, namely freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, and mixed-style.

The wristband

The wristband has integrated a payments mode and users can swipe the screen to show to QR code on their Mi Band 4 to make payments on-the-go.

Furthermore, it also sports an inbuilt microphone. The microphone recognises voice command, enabling users to send voice commands through the new Mi Band to control compatible connected devices.
