New Delhi: Xiaomi on Tuesday launched its new Mi Play smartphone in China. The device comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It is priced at 1,099 Yuan (approximately Rs 11,000) and is the company’s first smartphone with waterdrop screen notch.
Xiaomi Mi Play comes in Blue, Red and Black colour options with gradient finish. The smartphone features a 5.84-inch full-HD+display with 1080×2280 pixels resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio.
It has a dual camera setup on the rear sporting a 12-megapixel primary sensor with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF, EIS and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The phone has a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Xiaomi Mi Play is powered by a 3000mAh battery and it runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 10 on top. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The phone dimensions are 147.76 x 71.89 x 7.8mm and the weight is 150 grams.
