Xiaomi Mi Band 7 launch scheduled on May 24, Expected specs and features

Xiaomi has confirmed that it is going to launch its latest fitness smart band Mi Band 7 along side Redmi Note 11T series on May 24 in China. The Mi Band 7 will succeed the Mi Band 6, that was launched globally in 2021 with largest ever display and some great new features. Now, ahead of the launch, the company has shared a poster of the device.

Xiaomi is expected to bring the Mi Band 7 along with other flagship products for 2022 around August in India.

Mi Band 7 will come with a pill-shaped design and a 1.62-inch AMOLED screen up. The larger panel will allow for more watch complications on the watch screen which should be easier to read than on past models. It will also have NFC which will most likely be market-dependent and the other features will likely include heart rate, blood oxygen and exercise data measurements as well as the usual mix of built-in apps for weather, music controls and alarms.

Mi Band 7 specifications

The Xiaomi Band 7 will have a similar look like its predecessor. Though, the company has not specified the display size yet, rumours have suggested that Xiaomi Mi Band 7 will feature a 1.56-inch AMOLED display with resolution support of 490×192 pixels.

Xiaomi would provide many fitness related features with the upcoming product. We may get some new activity modes in the Mi Band 7.

Though we don’t know many details about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 7 yet, we will likely get to know more about it soon as it is going to be launched on May 24.

According to reports, the Xiaomi Band 7 may not come under the very affordable category as the cost of manufacturing electronic products has increased significantly.
