Beijing: Xiaomi 12 series of flagship smartphones has finally been launched in its home country China. The lineup comes with three models — Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12X.

All the three devices comes with faster-charging speeds, a better camera setup on the back, improved displays and more. The three smartphones of the Xiaomi 12 series features a display that supports 120Hz refresh rate and a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP primary sensor.

Lets us take a look at the price and specifications of the phones.

Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12X price, availability

Xiaomi 12 price is priced at CNY 3,699 (around Rs 43,400) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. While the 8GB + 256GB storage option costs CNY 3,999 (around Rs 46,900) and the top-end 12GB + 256GB variant is price at CNY 4,399 (around Rs 51,600).

The price of Xiaomi 12 Pro price starts at CNY 4,699 (around Rs 55,100) for the 8GB + 128GB variant and CNY 4,999 (around Rs 58,600) for the 8GB + 256GB model. The top-end 12GB + 256GB option carries a price tag of CNY 5,399 (around Rs 63,300).

The Xiaomi 12X, on the other hand has a starting price of CNY 3,199 (around Rs 37,500) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The phone also comes in a 8GB + 256GB model that costs CNY 3,499 (around Rs 41,000) and the top-of-the -line 12GB + 256GB option is priced at CNY 3,799 (around Rs 44,500).

Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X will be available in China from December 31 and their pre-sales will begin from Tuesday. Xiaomi has not yet provided any details on the launch of the Xiaomi 12 series in other markets including India.

Xiaomi 12 specifications

The vanilla Xiaomi 12 model features a 6.28-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU paired with up to 12GB RAM, 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.

The handset runs Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box.

The handset sports a triple camera setup on the back, headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP telephoto lens. It has a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The device houses a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging support. The phone also has 10W reverse wireless charging support.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.

Xiaomi 12 also has Dolby Atmos support, Harman Kardon-tuned stereo speakers and HiRes audio.

Xiaomi 12 Pro specifications

Xiaomi 12 comes equipped with a large 6.73-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, centre-positioned punch-hole cutout. The handset boots Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box.

It packs a 5,000mAh battery with a 120W fast charging support. The phone also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The device has triple cameras on the back, with a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens. It has a 32MP front-facing camera.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU coupled with Adreno GPU. It packs up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Xiaomi 12X specifications

The Xiaomi 12X features a 6.28-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

The device packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The rectangular rear camera module houses a 50MP primary sensor and there’s a 32MP camera at the front.
