WhatsApp Working On New Feature For Group Chats And Many Others; Know Details Here

WhatsApp is working on many new features. Among them, a new feature called ‘mention badge’ will be added alongside the pin message option for WhatsApp group chats.

The new feature will be used for group chats in WhatsApp. The badge feature can be used to tag friends in a group chat.

Explaining the feature the WABetaInfo report said that when you receive a new mention in a group, a new badge will be added in the group cell.

WABetaInfo reported that the mention badge feature is currently only available for the Android 2.21.3.13 beta update of WhatsApp however it is not available for all users yet. The feature is currently under development and will be available for all in the future.

WhatsApp released the Android 2.21.3.13 beta update today after multiple bug fix and improvements, said reports.

WhatsApp has also released a new sticker pack called ‘Taters n tots’ on WhatsApp for Android users. And the sticker pack is currently available on the app.

To use the new sticker pack users can tap on the sticker icon in any chat, then click on the ‘+’ icon. It will show the sticker packs available and the new sticker pack will appear at the top of the list. Now download the new sticker packs and use them.

Apart from this WhatsApp is also working on a sticker shortcut. The new sticker shortcut will show in the chat bar of the keyboard and will show any relevant sticker for emojis or words used in the chat bar. WhatsApp is currently working on this feature in beta app for Android.

Earlier, WhatsApp rolled out a new feature that prohibits illegal log in to users’ WhatsApp web account. The new feature is ask for face and fingerprint unlock before scanning a QR code from the phone to link their device to the WhatsApp web.

So when someone tries to log in to the WhtasApp Web without permission, a notice will pop up on your phone to alert you.
