WhatsApp users to soon get a new interface on Android

WhatsApp is finally going to shed the outdated look with a brand new user interface for the Android devices, as per the recent Beta update.

WhatsApp has introduced a lot of new features to the app since Meta acquired it in February 2014. However, the app’s user interface on Android still remains outdated despite the app releasing multiple updates in the years.

WhatsApp has finally thought of the need to make some changes on Android as far as UI is concerned. According to new reports, the instant messaging app might introduce a completely new user interface for its Android devices soon.  The new UI will reportedly provide easy navigation experience to Android users.

The app is reportedly working on the bets version of the UI currently. The new UI was first spotted by Wabetainfo.com. The new User Interface will add a bottom navigation bar to the app, similar to that of the iOS platform.

The interface of WhatsApp on iOS is quite different from what is on Android. This can a be a bit confusing for users who switch between the two. So, the new changes for Android will enhance consistency across different platforms.

The interface change has been requested by a lot of users. They have been asking for a more modernized look for the app for quite some time now. Now, the app has decided to grant the users request with the new update.

According to the new beta update 2.23.8.4, WhatsApp is now working on a redesign of the user interface for Android users. This new design will include a bottom navigation bar.

WhatsApp is making some changes to the interface of the App including a new navigation bar at the bottom to make it a lot easier for users to access the different sections of the app. The navigation bar will contain all the important buttons for easy access.

Finally, we can say that WhatsApp has listened to users’ feedback and acted in accordance. This new changes will definitely enhance the user experience of WhatsApp and keep users on the platform.

Currently, the changes is under beta testing and WhatsApp will push it to Android users around the globe in future updates.
