WhatsApp to soon add a new Undo button for status updates; Know all details

Whatsapp is one of the most popular instant-messaging apps worldwide as it offers users with a fun and good chatting experience. The company has always tried to enhance its platform by adding various new features and tools to the app as per the users need.

Now, a new report released by WhatsApp feature tracker WABetaInfo has revealed that the company is working on Undo button for status updates.

WhatsApp Status is similar to Instagram Stories that disappears automatically after 24 hours. Generally, if a user want to remove an accidental posted status immediately then they have to do it using the delete option. But, the new feature will allow users to instantly remove an unintentionally posted status update.

The new Undo button will appear on the opposite side of the ‘Status Sent’ button, revealed WABetaInfo. This will make it easier for users, when they accidentally post a status update or shared a status update without sufficient editing.

WhatsApp will have the Camera and Edit buttons on top of the Undo button to allow users to make changes to the Status before sharing.

Note that, WhatsApp already has a delete option to allows users to erase their Status updates.

WABetaInfo said that “When you delete/undo a status update, you can even track the deletion process now: when completed, WhatsApp will notify you that you erased your status update.”

As per reports, the new Undo button for Status updates is now available in the Android beta version 2.21.22.6. However, WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.21.22.5 and select beta testers might get access to this feature.

WhatsApp recently rolled out Payment Stickers for its Payment users in India. WhatsApp has added many fun sticker packs like Pyaar aur Payments, Pay OK Please, Pay Aadha or Zyaada, Sabse Bada Rupaiya, and Apna Sapna Money in the list. WhatsApp has collaborated with five Indian designers and illustrators to develop these different sticker packs. These packs provide a fun experience to Indian users who transfer money using WhatsApp payments.
