However, the word of confirmation from WhatsApp about the text colour change update is yet to be official. Some other features on which the company is currently working are change in playback speed of voice messages, linking multiple devices on a single account etc.
The change in playback speed feature is currently in beta phase and is developed only for iOS users. With this feature audio messages received by users can be played at three different speeds i.e. 1x, 1.5x and 2x.This feature will be released with WhatsApp version 22.214.171.124.
The other important update i.e. linking multiple devices on a single account will allow users to remain connected to a maximum of four computers. However, unlike now, the users will not be bound to connect their smartphone to internet in order access WhatsApp on multiple computers.
However, WhatsApp has not made any official notification about the availability of the above mentioned features.
