New Delhi: German carmaker Volkswagen has launched its new Passat Connect sedan. The new car features the ‘Volkswagen Connect’ advanced telematics and vehicle assistance system. It will enable customers to experience features like trip tracking, fuel cost monitoring and driving behaviour. Volkswagen Passat Connect has been priced at Rs 25.99 lakh.
In terms of specification, the Passat sedan features a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine delivering 177PS of power and 350Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Volkswagen has claimed a 17.42kpl fuel efficiency for the sedan.
Steffen Knapp, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Director said, “The Volkswagen Passat is made for perfectionists filled with path-breaking technologies to make life easier. With the all-new Passat Connect, Volkswagen aims to further transform and enhance the customer driving experience.”
Volkswagen Passat Connect comes in two variants with the entry level comfortline priced at Rs 25.99 lakh and top end vehicle available at Rs 28.99 lakh.
