New Delhi: Chinese Smartphone company Vivo launched its Vivo Y93 model in China on Thursday. The device, which comes in two colour variants viz. starry night and red, is a budget android smartphone. It features 4GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage, 6.2-inch display, besides dual rear camera setup.
Vivo Y93 looks similar to Vivo V11. It has been priced at 1,500 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs. 15,900). It is currently available for purchase through Vivo Online Store in China.
The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. It sports a 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1580 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor clocked at 1.95 GHz and paired with 4GB RAM. The handset comes with facial recognition technology sans a fingerprint sensor. It is fuelled by a 4,030mAh battery.
The dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera features phase detection autofocus while the front camera boosts of Face Wake, AI beautification and AR Stickers.
The 64GB inbuilt storage of Vivo Y93 is expandable upto 256GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and OTG support.
