Vivo Y72 5G Launched With MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and Triple Camera: Price, Specs Here

Chinese company Vivo has added one more smartphone in its Y-series lineup by launching the Vivo Y72 5G in Thailand.

Vivo Y72 5G comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and packs a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel sensor. The phone’s camera has with a Super Night Mode that helps to capture sharp photos at night.

Vivo Y72 carries a price tag of THB 9,999 (around Rs 23,300) for its single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It is launched in Graphite Black and Dream Glow colour options.

The pre-booking of the handset will be going on from March 23 to March 30, and it will officially go on sale on March 31.

The Vivo Y72 5G features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD IPS display with 1,080×2,408 pixels resolution. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo Y72 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage.

The phone runs on Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11.1.

Vivo Y72 5G flaunts a triple rear camera setup in a rectangular module along with an LED flash. The camera set up includes a 64-megapixel main camera paired with f/1.79 lens, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultrawide lens that has a 120-degree field-of-view and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. At the front, the phone sports a 16-megapixel selfie shooter paired with f/2.0 lens.

Vivo Y72 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging supports.

The phone has both 5G, 4G LTE connectivity. Apart from this the handset also has dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack connectivity options.

The Vivo Y72 5G comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone weighs 193 grams  and measures 163.95×75.30×8.50mm.
