Smartphone manufacturer Vivo will launch the Vivo X100 Ultra flagship device along with two other X100 series devices on May 13. The company has confirmed the same on its official handle on Weibo. The new flagship devices will be X100s and the X100s Pro. The Vivo X100s will have flat sides.
Vivo has already listed the smartphones on its online store in China. The X100 Ultra boasts of a camera setup that is quite different than the other devices of the X100 smartphones. A company member has revealed the details of the camera tech on the X100 Ultra. It will feature a micro-gimble anti-shake telephoto lens for fast objects. On the other hand, the macro feature of the telephoto camera offers a magnification rate of 3.4:1. Similarly, the Dark light telephoto portrait option will offer seamless images for glare or reflections. The X100 Ultra gets Zeiss integration and this helps users to capture sunrises, sunsets as well as flowing clouds.
Speaking about specs, the Vivo X100 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and offers a 1/1.4” 200-MP Zeiss APO super telephoto camera. The aperture of the camera is f/2.67 and the focal length is 22.48mm. The high-pixel mode on the device offers a resolution of 12888 x 16320, as mentioned reports. The device comes with a metal frame and a curved screen.Vivo had shared images of the device’s telephoto camera few days back. It will be offered in Titanium White as well as Black in 12GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB storage configurations.
On the other hand, the Vivo X100S series will get a Dimensity 9300+ SoC, 120W GaN charger, fast charging. The other important specs are 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED flat screen and flat metal frame. Vivo X100A will be offered in Titanium Black, Blue and White colours. On the other hand, the X100AS Pro is expected to be offered in Titanium Black and White. The storage configurations are 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB configurations.
