Jio Rs 259 prepaid plan: Get a validity for a calendar month along with 1.5GB daily data

Reliance Jio has introduced one of the deal-breaking prepaid plans for its customers in India. The company has introduced Rs 259 prepaid plan for a calendar month. This means that the validity of the prepaid plan will be the same as that of the number of days in the current month. If a month has 30 days users will be able to access the plan for 30 days, and if a month has 31 days the users can avail of the plan for 31 days.

The Reliance Rs 259 plan offers a pack validity of 1 month along with a 1.5 GB data per day. Users get subscription to unlimited voice calls along with 100 SMS per day. Users also get free subscriptions to JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity and JioCloud. After exhausting the daily data limit users will get a speed of 64 Kbps.

Users who want to recharge the Rs 259 plan can either do it through the official Reliance Jio website or a Reliance Jio app on their smartphone.

It is quite important to note that Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) had asked telecom companies to offer monthly plans that offer 30 day validity.

If you are planning to recharge prepaid plans with 1.5 GB daily data, Jio provides more than half-dozen prepaid recharge plans for its users. While Rs 119 plan offers a validity of 14 days, the Rs 199plan offers a validity of 23 days and the Rs 239 prepaid recharge plan offers validity for 28 days. Users can also opt for bigger plans like Rs 479, Rs 666 and Rs 2545 plan. The Rs 2545 plan comes with a validity of 336 days. The Rs 479 plan comes with a validity of 56 days while Rs 666 plan comes with a validity of 84 days.
